Goals and Objectives

• To encourage and foster the development of a boys singing voice from an early age through the adolescent years through training and study.

• To promote the understanding of the value of music as an art and to develop each choir member's aesthetic sensitivity by introducing him to a variety of fine choral literature.

• To provide a variety of opportunities for Kantorei to provide high quality programs for audiences to enjoy in the Rockford community, the nation, and throughout the world.

• To represent the Rockford area as "Singing Ambassadors" and to promote international understanding through music.

• To build the character of each Kantorei member by providing discipline and opportunity for personal growth.

• To develop the potential and foster the desire for continued involvement in music beyond Kantorei, whether through performing, listening, creating, or supporting music in the community.
